Why are your prices so high? I thought shooting digital was cheaper than traditional film.

While the cost of processing film is no longer an issue, there are several other factors, both old and new, that contribute to the cost of shooting digital:

  • Storage and backup costs
  • Post processing
  • Equipment
  • Time

If you compare my prices to any other competent professional photographer, you’ll find them both competitive and in the same general range. If you hire a photographer for an unbelievable low price, chances are you’re sacrificing experience, quality of the final product and knowledge. As with most everything else, you get what you pay for.

Can I purchase the digital files?

Unfortunately, no.


Are you willing to negotiate your prices?

You’re getting a great product at a fair price. I cannot negotiate prices.


Are your images copyrighted?

Yes, all my images are protected by federal and international copyright laws.

Can I have my picture removed from your client gallery/website?

Absolutely. Please contact me and I will remove the pictures.

I’m unhappy with a picture. Can I get a refund?

If you’re unhappy with a picture (crop, color or general quality of the picture), I’ll be happy to work with you to make it right. Once the picture is returned, I can offer a refund or credit you for another shot.

How do I pay you for pictures?

Once I’ve received your order, I will contact you via email, confirming your order. You will then be sent an invoice via email. You may either print out the invoice and mail in your check, or choose the option in the invoice to pay via PayPal.


Why do you have to receive payment before processing my order?

Sometimes people change their mind or refuse to pay after receiving their order.


What forms of payment do you take?

I take payments in form of personal checks and credit cards via PayPal.

What is FreshBooks and why do I need to go to their website to make a payment or view my invoice?

FreshBooks is an online invoice and billing service that I use to invoice customers. Their website uses industry-standard security for all web traffic so you can be assured of a safe transaction. To learn more about FreshBooks, visit their site.

What kind of sports do you shoot?

I like to shoot anything, although prep level sports are my favorite. I’ve shot girls/boys basketball, volleyball, football, gymnastics and soccer.

Will you travel to our school to shoot a game?

Yes. I frequently travel to games in the Las Cruces/El Paso area and southern New Mexico.
